Send the cut. See it opened. Get the sign-off.

Every delivery goes out on one polished review link. You see when your client opened or downloaded it, you decide who gets in, and the client approves or asks for changes on the page.

Free plan, no credit card. Pro is $29/month for up to 20 members.

[01] The problem

Sending the cut is easy. Getting a clear answer is not.

  • 01

    Chasing clients over email

“Did you get a chance to look at v3?” The cut went out on Monday and you are still writing follow-ups on Thursday.

  • 02

No idea if they watched it

A Drive or transfer link tells you nothing. You can't tell whether the client opened it, downloaded it or forgot it.

  • 03

    Feedback everywhere

Notes arrive by email, chat and screenshots, from three people, about two different versions. The final answer gets lost.

[02] The fix

One review link per delivery, with a clear yes at the end

Polu replaces the email thread and the folder link with a review page your client can open anywhere. The cut plays in the browser, next to anything else you deliver: stills, boards, scripts or the final package.

  • You know when the link was opened and what was downloaded.
  • Access stays under your control: password, expiry, email gate, review-only, revoke.
  • The client's approval or change request is recorded on the link, not buried in an inbox.
  • Your whole team works from one workspace at one flat price.

Tip: export H.264 MP4 for the widest browser support. Other formats can always be downloaded.

Illustration with example data: a delivery link's activity as the sender sees it.

[03] How it works

How a delivery works

From final export to client sign-off in four steps.

  1. 01

    Upload the cut

Drop in the export, or a folder with the cut and its stills. Files up to 5 GB on Pro, scanned for malware on upload.

  2. 02

    Set the rules

Add a password, an expiry date or an email gate, or make the link review-only. Change or revoke access without re-uploading.

  3. 03

    Send one link

The client opens a clean review page in the browser, on your own domain if you like. No account and no app needed.

  4. 04

    Get the sign-off

See when the link was opened and what was downloaded, and let the client approve or request changes on the page.

  • 02

    Email alerts

Get an email when a client opens or downloads a delivery, instead of refreshing your inbox.

  • 03

    Password and expiry

Lock a cut behind a password and let the link expire when the review window closes. Revoke it at any time.

    Plus and Pro

  • 04

    Email gate

Ask for the viewer's email before the link opens, so you know who looked at the cut.

    Pro

  • 05

    Review-only links

Clients preview the files in the browser without a download option.

    Pro

  • 06

    Plays in any browser

  • 07

    Timecoded comments

Clients leave notes at the exact second that needs a change; you reply and resolve them. Free covers one review link a month.

    Every plan

  • 08

    Notes pinned to the page

On stills and PDFs, clients click the exact spot that needs a change and write the note there. You see the page and position.

    Every plan

  • 09

    Replies reach the client

When you answer a comment, the client gets an email with your reply and a link back to the conversation, and can stop these emails at any time.

    Every plan

  • 10

    Versions on one link

Upload v2 behind the same link. Clients see the newest cut and can switch back, with each version's comments kept.

    Plus and Pro

  • 11

    Watch progress

See how far each client watched and who finished the cut. Every plan shows totals; Pro adds a watch heatmap.

    Plus and Pro

  • 12

    Watermarked previews

Stamp image, PDF and video previews with the viewer's identity. On video it's an overlay in the player, not burned into the file.

    Pro

  • 13

    Client approvals

Clients approve the delivery or request changes from the review page, and the answer stays on record.

    Plus and Pro

  • 14

    Your domain and brand

Remove Polu branding on Plus. Add your logo, colors and your own domain on Pro.

[05] Pricing

Pay per workspace, not per editor

Producers, editors and account managers all touch a delivery. Per-seat tools charge for each of them; Polu charges once for the workspace.

Pro is $29/month for up to 20 members. Freelancers can start on Free, or Plus at $9/month for client approvals and password links.
